Wow! What can we say about Chris?
From the moment you meet him, either in person or over the phone, you become acutely aware of the passion he has for his craft.
He truly loves what he does and this is evident in his art. I use the word art instead of furniture because I believe that’s what he creates.
We first approached Chris with an idea, basically an image in our head. We had difficulty articulating what it was we actually wanted, but he was so patient with us, and you could almost see the wheels turning inside his head, trying to work out a way to bring our project to life.
Not only did Chris over deliver in terms of design and usability, his attention to detail in crafting our table was nothing short of amazing. He ended up creating, what we believe to be, a beautiful piece of functional art. There isn’t a person who enters out home, that doesn’t comment on it.
Chris is not only brilliant at what he does he is also a genuinely lovely and honest person. He kept in contact with us throughout the whole process and nothing was ever a hassle for him. We can’t wait to work with Chris again on another project (we now just have to find one!)

I was looking for some different pieces of recycled furniture for my holiday home and I came across Chris Bennell on the web.
At first I bought a side table. It was just what I wanted. Recycled Karri which actually came out of an old church. I was so impressed with the workmanship and the attention to detail so I also ordered a coffee table, a dining table and tv unit.
